Students appearing for secondary school certificate examinations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will receive their hall tickets along with exam preparation material the practical, oral and grade test on February 25.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune 411004 is an Autonomous Body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 Lacs for HSC and 17 Lac’s SSC, for the supplementary examination around 6 Lacs students are expected HSC and SSC together. There are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. colleges in the entire state.
A statement issued by the Pune divisional board on Saturday said that the hall tickets and other exam material will be handed over to respective school authorities at designated centres between 11 am and 3 pm. “School authorities have been asked to ensure that every student in their school is issued a hall ticket. If there are any mistakes in the hall tickets or if any student does not get a hall ticket, school authorities must immediately contact the divisional board,” the statement read.
The MSBSHSE Class 10 (SSC) theory examination will begin from March 3, 2014 and will wind up on March 27, 2014. The Class 10 exams 2014 will be held in morning and evening.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has also launched Counseling facilities to help students face exam stress and other studies-related problems. A total of 10 counselor has been appointed to help students.
