CSIR – SERC (Structural Engineering Research Centre) has issued notification for recruitment of Scientist & Senior Scientist Posts to fill the 08 vacant seats in the Centre. Academic Pre- Requisites:
The Contenders should possess Masters Degree in Technology / Masters Degree in Engineering / Doctoral Degree in the particular area from a recognized university and relevant experience as per the requirement of applied post.
Cost of Application:
Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs. 100 (for General and OBC Contenders) in the form of Demand Draft issued in favor of – The Director, CSIR SERC, and Payable at Chennai.
Reserved category contenders including CSIR Employees need not to pay any fee for application.
Remuneration Scale:-
For Scientist Post – Rs. 18750 to Rs. 64,705/-
For Senior Scientist Post – Rs. 21900 to Rs. 74,250/-
Assortment Process:
The selection of aspirants will be made on the basis of Screening Test > Interview.

Eligible applicants need to apply online through SERC’s registered portal, i.e., serc.res.in (no other way of application is provided. Fill in all the details carefully. After filling online application, upload the scanned copy of your photograph. Click on Submit. Take print out of application, attach required documents put it in an envelope, super scribe the envelope as “Application for the post of Scientist / Senior Scientist” and forward it to –
