Admission Notification Session 2013,

B. Sc (4 Year):

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants may have aggregate of 45% marks in relevant subject.
  2. Applicants may have PCM Stream (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
  3. Applicants may have PCB Stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
  4. Applicants may have CBZ Stream (Chemistry, Botany and Zoology).

B.A (4 Year)

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants may have aggregate of 45% marks in relevant subject.
  2. Applicants may have History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Science / Sociology (any two subjects)

M.Sc (6 Year)

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants may have aggregate of 45% marks in relevant subject.
  2. Applicants may have PCM Stream (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)

Master of Education (One Year)

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants may have aggregate of 50% marks in relevant subject.
  2. Applicants may have appropriate weight age in PG degree.

Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling Program:

  1. Distance mode DCGC is offered One year Program.
  2. September/ October 2013 Admission begins

Reservation Info:

  1. 15% – SC
  2. 7.5% – ST
  3. 27% – OBC
  4. 3% – PH AND OTHER as per Government of India norms

Tuition Fee Info:

  1. 250/- p.m. tuition fee.
  2. SC/ST is exempted from payment of tuition fee.

Accommodation Charges:

  1. Separate hostel on the campus for boys and girls are available.
  2. 2, 000/- hostel charges + 8, 000/- Rs. mess deposit per semester.

Apply Procedure:

  1. Applicants may download Application form from the official website.
  2. Applicants may have to pay Rs.500/-for each application.
  3. SC/ST candidates may have to pay Rs.350/-
  4. DD in favor of the Principal, Regional Institute of Education , Mysore – 6
  5. Attach all important documents(attested copies of certificates), DD and enclose in self-addressed envelope of Rs.10/- postal stamp
  6. sent to the Section Officer (Academic Section), Regional Institute of Education, Mysore 570006
